An oil painter from the age of seven, Patricia Burford Ryan is a former New Yorker who now makes her home in Austin, Texas. Pat received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, where she studied independently under the great Robert Colescott. She graduated with distinction and furthered her art education at the School of Visual Arts and Hunter College in New York City. Pat primarily paints landscapes and architecture in oil on linen and panels.
